"Oh-!" When she hugs him, he smiles a little and frees up one arm to squeeze her back gently. Now that he's getting more comfortable with her, he makes a very huggable teddy bear. Maybe the beard helps. He'd prefer not to grow it and his hair out so long he ends up looking like Merlin, though.

If I hang around here letting you feed me too long, I won't be able to walk anymore..." A little being spoiled is nice, but he does feel slightly overwhelmed by her cooking and coddling.
